When I think of fitness in general, the first think that comes to mind are goals. Whether you are in the gym, running outside or swimming at a local pool, you are experiencing some kind of exercise. Everyone exercises or works out for a certain reason. Whether that reason is to lose weight, gain muscle, become faster, feel better or just have fun. Those are just a few examples; you can have your own personal goals of whatever it is you want to achieve when you are exercising. Each person is different with different mind sets, lifestyles and even bodies. It would be impossible for every single person to follow the same diet, routine and work outs. It just wouldn’t be possible, this is why when you decide to perform any kind of workout, you have to figure out what is best for you.
Next time you go to work out or just go for a short run, think about what it is you are trying to accomplish. Are you trying to lose or gain a certain amount of weight or just go out and have fun? Set goals and standards for yourself and your health that you believe are possible to accomplish.
The idea behind my logo comes from everyone having their own body. Health goes along with exercise and if you are taking care of your body, you have your own way of doing it which goes along with having your own form of health standards to live by. The thought bubble is shown to encourage you to truly give this all a thought. The words “my health” are written out to encourage you to give your health a thought. What is it that you should be doing to maintain or enhance a healthy living lifestyle for your body?
Well hello there everyone! My name is Casey otherwise known as "coliverr" and I am here to show you just how much fun you can have with fitness! To get a better idea of me, I am a Communication major student at Kent State in Ohio. I grew up in Ohio, have lived here my whole life and I have been physically active with sports since I can remember. I was always an active child growing up and loved playing soccer when I was younger. In high school I found a love for running and joined the cross country team. Since high school I have been actively running off and on. I did my first half marathon in 2018 (the Akron Marathon) I didn't actually train for it ahead of time but I hd a great time with it. For the past few years I have been going to the gym off and on trying to build more muscle! I am very determined at this time in my life to not let anything get in the way of actively going. Fitness as well as eating right are huge parts of my life. Beyond that I am the type of girl who loves traveling, exploring and spending time with my friends and family as well as just chilling on my own listening to good music and going on walks when I want some down time. SO as I said I go to Kent State and am in the Communication major, I am a junior and I would love to find a job I genuinely enjoy after graduating. I plan to get into event planning of some sort! Now enough about me, lets talk about this blog. I am here to show you just how much FUN you can have with fitness! All of my do's, my don'ts and everything in between. From amount of time I spend working out, running or being active in any way to what i'm eating and how I am taking care of my body! Most of all i'd like to show you all how to have a good time with it, I truly believe you can be serious and still have a good time while staying active. I hope anyone reading this finds it at-least a tad fun to review and reference for yourself, enjoy!
